THE CHALLENGE
The rapid growth of Conres LT – a Lithuanian construction company – was being hampered by uneven information sharing among its divisions, with employees feeling communication was insufficiently clear and engaging.
THE SOLUTION
We conducted a comprehensive internal communication audit which included analysing communication channels, aligning management expectations, and surveying employee experience.
Based on the audit findings, we developed an internal communication strategy that included clearly defined priorities and content. One of the strategy’s cornerstones was the Town Hall format (all-employee meetings).
When designing the Town Hall, we made sure the sessions were relevant and dynamic, aligned with Conres’ strategic goals and business priorities, and conducive to manager-employee dialogue. We developed the session agendas and structure, and helped managers with presentations and public speaking. We also conducted rehearsals and took part in the inaugural session, followed by collecting feedback from employees and providing recommendations for further improvements to the format.
THE RESULT
In addition to developing an empowering internal communication strategy, we streamlined and updated the Town Hall meeting format.
After the first session, the majority of employees said the event was interesting, necessary, and valuable, and that the information presented was relevant and clear. The Conres team felt the change right away and gave positive feedback on the new format, which helped them better understand the company’s goals and priorities while ensuring clarity across the organisation.
Managers gained new experience and confidence, and the sessions became an anticipated, engaging communication format for the company.
